After a highly anticipated wait, Instagram  is finally available to  owners of Nokia Lumia  devices.

Currently in beta, Instagram for Windows Phone 8 is now available in the Windows Phone Marketplace for Nokia Lumia smartphones ranging from the Lumia 520 to the Lumia 1520.

Like other iterations of the application, Instagram for Windows Phone 8 comes with a variety of custom filters designed to make it easy to put the ‘art’ into ‘smartphone’.

It only takes three steps: take a photo, choose a filter and post it to Instagram (or Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare and more).

As with other Windows Phone 8 applications, Instagram makes use of Live Tiles, lock screen notifications and fast-resume support.
